Found a sequence break and was even able to solo something as just the coat guy, but then there's a forced duel with someone who isn't in my party and it just immediately game overs. Going to see if there's a way to maybe force the other players in the party but it doesn't seem likely.

So far I've been able to do some minimal sequence breaks, but now I've found out you can have the menu up after sleeping at the inn and you can run around. Yet to determine if this does anything useful(can't carry it in to battles), but I'm hoping it helps break something at least.
