This magnificent ancient Oak Tree in Earlham Park, near to the UEA, is 500 to 600 years old.

Once a timber bridge, but this was destroyed by a flood in 1519.
The present bridge was built in 1520 and you can still see the Medieval brick & stonework today. It was later widened in 1780 and restored in the 1970's
