I Like To Pretend I'm Creative, probably a bad idea to follow me on your main.
House Condiment is a coinflip between "we made this burger sauce from whatever was left in the pantry that didn't have mold on it" and "the single most delicious food additive you have ever eaten". There is no middle ground.

Is the blade a permanent addition or something that is used in certain situations?

For electronics: I try to keep 1-2 battery packs for mobile stuff (phone, laptop) charged at all times. If you work from home and have mission critical connectivity, a good Uninterruptable Power Supply connected to the necessities (router, modem, laptop) can sustain a couple hours off-grid.

For fridge/freezer/etc: Keeping a couple large bags of ice in the freezer can act as thermal mass, if you transfer one to the fridge it'll help the fridge stay cold as well. It can also be useful to keep a stock of stuff that doesn't require cooking, like bread and peanut butter, veggies, etc (2/?)

Depends on what resources you have on hand, how long the outages are, and what you're trying to keep working. Ultimately unless you're in a place where you can install your own whole-house battery backup, the answer is "accept the inevitable and ride it out, plus be annoyed".

Reject electron jails, embrace spinny rust. (Or, if you're *really* serious about data retention, embrace T a p e)

That's only for glitchless, which is the only thing people run because they're all cowards who are afraid to let their balls clip into Antarctica and generate enough heat to melt the ice caps.

True, there is an inherent attractiveness to forcing the result that you want out of an initialism... After all if someone's reality-breaking already I can't imagine they'd draw the line at words.

The pun works a little better with binary gender since you don't have to do the kinda awkward second-letter capitalization, but I think it still lands regardless.

Someone should really do a materials science study on the qualities and failure modes of cosmic structures and their constituent components. Would probably make a good PhD (Proof of tHeir Divinity) project, I reckon.

Personally I'm torn between "reality as glass that's about as fragile as the stuff on your phone" and "reality as soap bubbles" in terms of aesthetic. Both are lots of fun, really just depends on what vibe you're going for on a given day.
