I checked, it does not fit in the official Raspberry Pi 3 case. The M.2 slot gets in the way

Apparently it locked up in the middle of an update. Lots of messages from dbus(-daemon). Don't know if enabling the watchdog would've helped, but I suppose it won't hurt to have it from now on
The hardware watchdog in the VisionFive 2 can have the timeout set up to 357 seconds.

My understanding is that security keys communicate with libfido2, which talks to the kernel via the hidraw driver, which needs to be enabled in the kernel. Most Linux kernels enable it, the vendor kernel supplied by StarFive does not.
