It is with great sadness that the Buffalo & Erie County Public Library System announces the passing of Library Director John Spears following a courageous battle with cancer. He was 51.

How can rich people with taxpayer-funded health care be so callous as to vote to deny health care to those who can’t afford it? What kind of a country are we? It’s cruel, it’s immoral.

It's almost time for the Homeschool Art Show! From March 17 - 27 homeschool students in grades K - 12 should drop off their art submissions at the East Library Children's area for this non-juried art gallery. No registration required.
