Yes, the #MLS tries to follow the European marketing strategy: advertisement, sponsoring and selling streaming rights to broadcasters. It isn't working for 2nd tier leagues. The MLS and other federations/leagues now have a chance to engage directly with their fans, building/growing a fan base.
