This New Year, we’re not making resolutions — we’re making demands. A year ago, we named workplace abuse for what it is: psychological violence that destroys lives, careers, families, and communities. We shared the symptoms, the fallout, and the truth of what happens when power goes unchecked. And we chose to use our voices — together — to fight for dignity at work. In 2026, we take the next step. From Capitol Hill to everyday workplaces across America, abuse thrives when there are no guardrails. But we are the guardrails. We the People have the power to demand accountability, advocate, and agitate the system that has protected abusers for far too long. The Workplace Psychological Safety Act just passed the Rhode Island Senate. That’s right: the Rhode Island Senate stood up for workers and said no more to psychological abuse on the job.

Next it moves to the Rhode Island House Labor Committee.
