Fever House by Keith Rosson and its sequel The Devil By Name. Both move at a very quick pace and I would say they’re for fans of The X-Files.

The Only Good Indians by Stephen Graham Jones if you want something that’s a bit more on the tragic side. Or My Heart is a Chainsaw if you’re into slashers.
