In 2024, the NI Affairs Committee published a report into effect of paramilitary activity and organised crime on society in Northern Ireland.

Last year we created 3 case study videos to show how paramilitary & criminal gangs exploit and control people & communities. The videos are a powerful insight into how some people are forced into a life of paramilitary crime & violence.

Our Programme operates throughout NI. Projects vary in scale, focus, location, target group and methodology depending on an identified need.

In Autumn 2024, @northernireland.gov.uk extended the Executive Programme on Paramilitarism and Organised (EPPOC) for 2 more years prior to closure in March 27. For the Financial Year 2025/26, £16m has been given to EPPOC by @northernireland.gov.uk and the UK Government to continue our vital work.
