We toured the Bethel 1 project in Logan Heights, with all units going to formerly homeless veterans & seniors!🎉 Bethel AME San Diego is building it in partnership with Yes in God's Backyard (YIGBY), which partners with faith-based institutions to transform underutilized land into affordable housing.

We joined PATH San Diego to celebrate their incredible accomplishments over the past year: 1,100 people moved into permanent homes and services provided to 8,000 individuals!

It's #mythbusting time💥. People experiencing #homelessness are stereotyped as ‘transient drifters’ seeking services in urban areas. FACT👉 People experiencing homelessness in California are Californians. 9 out of 10 lost their last housing in CA and 75% live in the same county as their last housing.
