Unfortunately, much like Germany in the 1930s, the America we once knew enabled the rise of the fascism we're seeing now. To ensure this never happens again, we must build something better in its place. In that sense, we have to let go of the America that was.

Like it or not, Republicans have always fought and push the boundaries of what's acceptable to do, whereas Democrats act like they have superior morals by taking the "high ground" and maintaining "decorum," which has NEVER worked in their favor.

@aoc.bsky.social The Dem party has failed us. The majority of congressional members (incl. Dem leaders), are corrupt, paid for, and out of touch. We need a NEW, younger party with more radical, and more socialistic values/ideals, who truly want to help America and her Citizens. We need major reform.

And that's why capitalistic America won't implement it. Everyone knows universal healthcare is better and cheaper for the citizens, but if healthcare is a universal service, then corrupt people can't profit from it.

I absolutely HATE it every time I hear a politician say "the American people want" or "my constituents want," as if they actually know what the average citizen is asking for. 🙄
