That sounded good until Trump took office, now i suspect that it would mean people that write papers slowing result Trump want to see get money and the truth becomes irrelevant. At least in USA.

That's an interesting way of seeing it.
December 23, 2025 at 7:01 AM
I think everyone in USA is going to sit and wait for someone else to take care of the problem and then usa ends up just like Russia. I hope I'm wrong. :)

I feel like the main goal of Twitter is to make people upset so they spend as much time possible on the platform with bots and people of opposite view. That's why abandoned Twitter.

Its usually companies who's services we use that sells data. ex meta has sold huge amount of personal data including private conversations between people. I'm more worried about big companies collect and sell my data when I use their services than actual datacenters that host companies services.
December 19, 2025 at 9:34 AM
There 1500+ different companies owning datacenters in usa. Datacenters rent out service to companies and it would be a very serious problem datacenters were caught spying on the companies renting their power. The companies want to sell your private data themself. The problem lies elsewhere.

I think datacenters are a bit like factories, we want what they provide but we don't want them polluting our city. I think whats needed is to develop more environmental friendly centers. Maybe by offering tax credits and stuff like that for more environmental friendly solutions.

Right now i work for a smaller company where it's not a huge issue if the website goes down for a few hours and we do not pay for redundancy here since it would cost more than we would lose. But big online stores could lose a lot of money if their site goes down and customers buy from other places.
December 18, 2025 at 8:50 PM
Redundancy here is if one server goes down another one can take over immediately, not that companies have own computers in addition. I worked for a n online casino that would lose thousands of $ per hr if site went down. Thus paid extra so it can continue running when one server in a region fail.

What about it?
December 18, 2025 at 8:30 PM
Used for daily services, like email, social media, messaging apps, video and music streaming services like Netflix, YouTube, Spotify. Online games, video calls, Online stores... Instead of companies running and taking care of computers locally at their office, they rent computers in a datacenter.

That's so cool!

It's more time consuming and expensive operation. Better to just destroy it and hope it was something bad. It's only humans anyway.

I’m not entirely convinced that the math maths out on that, but for an organization that is supposed to be about protecting animals, they sure love to kill pets.

For the unenlightened but curious, can you explain the significance?

I'm not actually sure, i know i have played more than one prime game but it was such a long time ago. Any specific thoughts about that one?
