A small point.
Religious edicts or orders, regardless of which faith have NEVER applied to those who impose or enforce them.They exist purely to keep the weak, the downtrodden, the poor, the minorities etc in check and in their place, silent & at the bottom of everything

How about the one that says "THOU SHALT NOT KILL" when it comes to state sponsored executions or the unfettered access to firearms and other weaponry 🤷
