I think the polycrisis will create the conditions for more wanton extermination of human life. I think it's inevitable unless we come together as a global community.

The facade of liberal democracy is crumbling. My only consolation in all this is that the material conditions in the west will deteriorate quickly enough to shock millions into a new political awareness.
