Runs a (back on hiatus indefinitely) makerspace for femme and queer people. Podcasts sometimes. Wrote some sci fi books many years ago and is now, after successfully raising two lovely humans, working up to writing again.
This makes me think of my own favorite 90s scent - While I've seen the related Love's Baby Soft perfume a few times over the years, I was never able to find Love's Rain Scent after age 14-ish - I wonder if I'd even like it anymore if I found it now!

My eldest daughter posted this last night:

Somehow it is a perfect analogy for my life rn that the human I brought into the world saved someone's life at a burger joint using CPR training she got just last week while upbeat pop music blared in the background. (They didn't even comp her check!)

Seeing reports of Google pushing even more AI garbage into users' searches. I tried to keep Chrome because I do like its development tools, but enough is enough.

I had a Commodore 64 for as long as I can remember, but I used that more like a gaming console. The first computer I used as a proper computer was an IBM PS/1 that my Dad brought home and promptly got frustrated with and gave to me.

I just wanted to share my prints of these awesome organizers! I printed them in Solder and Bubblegum colors! 🥰

Take the fictional character quiz and post the first four you know:

openpsychometrics.org/tests/charac...

On the one hand, all four of mine are kind of my heroes - that being said, I scanned through several I didn't know too, so take this with a grain of salt...

The color change are fun for fidget toys, since those interact with your hands enough to actually get the color to change.

Glow in the dark is fun at Halloween! I got a spool this past October and made this ghost and a few trick or treat lanterns and haven't touched it since!

Thank you! Surely I can fit another spool or two in here somewhere! (Note the glaring lack of rainbow filament)😂

Also (re: cover art) When I published my first title, I learned to use GIMP to make my own cover art out of assets I got from free sites. It was a lot of effort to figure out, and the cover is... not great, but it's mine, and I'm proud of it anyway. I learned a lot from the process of building it.

Apparently I did something right... (My daughter, responding to some asshole on some social media platform)

It's on the nose, but I honestly kind of love

Peach Endometriosis

as a band name...

So the things they never prepare you for about parenting is when you get to be a matriarch and answer questions about the family religion from all of the young ones. Like this conversation I had with my youngest's partner today:

Newest dystopian hellscape sign: I was searching for a new job, because the current nightmare has already tanked my small business, and saw this listing where they want a human to essentially act as a TA at a K-12 school while the AI 'handles the instruction'

Worst timeline ever.
