Alarmingly Low Prices: Counterfeit fentanyl pills are often sold for as little as $0.50 to $5 per pill. Possessing 100 pills doesn't automatically mean someone is trafficking—it's often a sign of an addiction crisis.

Addiction vs. Trafficking: Many individuals battling fentanyl addiction can easily accumulate 100 pills in a week.
Lower Potency Means Higher Use: International crackdowns on fentanyl production have reduced potency, so users need larger quantities to feel the effects.
