I mean just look at how expressive the faces he draws are. It genuinely stuns me, and I am very often taken aback. I stay on some panels really analyzing what expression Shuzo tries to convey.

I think the most poignant panel is the last one when Yuni finally picks Nanase over her, and fuuko réalisés that she lost the only thing she had… and she has nobody else to blame but herself.

Throughout the série, Nagi is always characterized as the image of a fish in a tank with seemingly no purpose in life other than serving others mindlessly. She is also thoroughly used by everybody. She only seeks death as « she has no reasons to live ». Cant wait to see the end of her arc.

As y’all can tell by my avi, I am a big fan of Shonen no abyss, and I’ve always been astonished by how great the art is. It makes the series so much more appealing imo.
