How the Media Manufactures Consent for Annexation: A Dissection of the Financial Times
When "liberal" outlets become stenographers for imperialism, words become weapons.

They are already praising a potential "compromise." But there is no compromise between a sovereign state and an annexing force—only submission.

The establishment media is softening up the target, turning capitulation into a "wise diplomatic step." 5/6
January 21, 2026 at 7:02 PM
FT identifies the "furore" (the refusal to sell land) as the threat to NATO, not the demand itself.

The imperial logic is clear: vassals must sacrifice their sovereignty for the suzerain’s comfort. If they refuse, THEY are the ones "destroying collective security." 4/6
January 21, 2026 at 7:02 PM
The most cynical part? Weaponizing Ukraine. The narrative is being set: "Do you want to save Ukraine? Then don't annoy the US over Greenland."

They are creating a false moral dilemma to force Europe into submission through guilt. Ukraine is just a bargaining chip here. 3/6
January 21, 2026 at 7:02 PM
The first trick is semantic. Trump demands sovereign territory (Greenland) under threat of NATO collapse. Legally, this is coercion. But the FT frames it as a "dispute" or "rift."

They gaslight the victim: it’s not an invasion of sovereignty, it’s just a "family quarrel." 2/6

It is precisely him they have long tried to write into this scenario. And we have yet to evaluate this role.

Finale
We are not being saved. We are being methodically driven into a dead end. The darkness is not a malfunction. It is the space reserved for the signature of Kyryusha Budanov under the future ultimatum—ink for which has been provided by our "strategic partner." 6/7
January 21, 2026 at 9:20 AM
• Hostage (Zelenskyy): The most tragic yet comic figure. He is forced to pretend he doesn't see the collusion.
He cannot say: "We are being killed with Washington's consent" — that would be the end. So he plays along, calling shelling merely "aggression," not coercion. 5/7
January 21, 2026 at 9:20 AM
Act 2. Casting the Roles
• Director (Trump): His role is NOT to interfere. He "sells" Putin time to strike, converting suffering into compliance. His silence is the main action.
• Executor (Putin): Does the dirty work. Physically breaks the will to resist, making capitulation look like salvation 4/7

Because in Trump’s new geopolitical model, a blackout is no longer a crime. It is an argument.
The US has given a tacit carte blanche to use cold as a negotiating tool. The logic: the more unbearable life becomes, the faster Ukraine will sign a "peace" on the terms of the Putin-Trump tandem. 3/7
January 21, 2026 at 9:20 AM
Act 1. Legitimizing Torture by Cold
We are witnessing a joint operation of "forcing into reality."
Massive strikes on energy infrastructure (like in Vinnytsia) happen to the accompaniment of... dead silence from Washington.
No emergency meetings. No ultimatums.
Why? 2/7

Calling Trump’s strategy "checkers" is pure cope. He bought the casino while you were analyzing pawn moves.

Also, asking Danes to die for an order you failed to defend at home is breathtaking hypocrisy. You want allies to be heroes because US elites chose to be cowards.
January 20, 2026 at 7:53 AM
Stop looking for logic in raw brutality using the morality of a victim. You are herbivores trying to psychoanalyze a predator.

Trump isn't obsessed with Greenland for resources. He is executing the "Great Exchange."

He is swapping 80 years of intangible US assets (alliances, law, reputation) for one physical asset and personal power.

He is burning the family estate to buy a golden throne. That’s looting.
January 20, 2026 at 7:50 AM
The "Checkers" myth is fatal. While you critique Trump's tactical errors on the board, he is reformatting the space.

Liberals think: "How do I win by the rules?" Trump thinks: "How do I buy the casino and change the value of the chips?"

He doesn't want to play; he wants to own.
January 20, 2026 at 7:50 AM
Cohen suggests Denmark should deploy troops to "fight to the last round" against the US.

The hypocrisy is breathtaking. US elites demand Europeans die for the "world order," yet they refused to fight when domestic institutions were dismantled in Washington. You outsourced your heroism.
January 20, 2026 at 7:50 AM
The $1B price tag is a red herring. The "Board of Peace" isn't a grift; it’s an Ersatz-UN designed to bypass intl law, legitimize the annexation of Greenland, and justify a 3rd term. You see a scam; I see a parallel legal order.

Operation Greenland: How Trump’s ‘Board of Peace’ Is Designed to Redraw the World Map
Forget the billion-dollar entry fee. The true purpose of Trump’s new organization isn’t profit—it’s the dismantling of the post-1945 order.

The U.S. isn't saving Taiwan from Beijing. It is saving Taiwan from its chips and its prosperity.

By forcing TSMC to move 40% of its supply chain to Arizona, Washington is dismantling the "Silicon Shield."

They are monetizing their status as a defender to extract assets. Once the chips are safe in the U.S., Taiwan’s strategic value—and its security guarantees—will evaporate.
