Definitely give them a try, the Klonoa games are some of my favorite games of all time, the remasters are just a little 'eh'.
My recommendation has always been to emulate the original game on PS1 first, and then if you enjoy it try the remaster for Klonoa 2 out.

Both remasters really did a number on their respective art styles. The ambience of the first level in Klonoa 2 is completely botched due to the lighting changes.

I know the iron is cold at this point, but I was reminded about the death of Charlotte Fosgate earlier this year and the sickening mockery by the far right, absolute cunts, and these are the same motherfuckers who expect us to be sad about Kirk.
