‘Bili Dowcer’ = Billy the diver (dowcer being a corruption of the Dutch ‘duiker’ = diver).

That 'wren' was skulking in the reeds just where a Cetti's Warbler was shouting out its unmistakeable song. I got very excited at my first capture of the elusive Cetti's. Thanks for pointing out that I may have been fooled by a Troglodyte!
