Amateur Genealogist.
Usually, I find children named for politicians. Today, I found a couple with an affinity for children's literature. So far, they've named their children Eloise and Madeline.

You know you're a Genealogist when, for driving practice, you make your child drive to an out-of-town cemetery, library, or courthouse. I might have even taken her on a cemetery trip across state lines. #Genealogy

My late ex was adopted. When birth cert was finally unsealed, & listed only the mothers name, my youngest took a DNA test. I started her half of tree. And doing decendency trees. It took me 3 yrs to get a close enough match to establish with relative certainty who her grandfather was. #Genealogy

My SIL was 1st genealogist. She taught dad. Dad traveled to Nation Archives yearly to courthouses, libraries, etc. My dau had to trace back to ancestor who 1st came to America. Most classmates were 2nd Gen. SHE averages 13 gen. By then, online services were available. I never stopped. #Genealogy

Left that old bird after it got Musky. Just heard droves are flocking here, so I'll give this a go, too. I have to be very private due to an X and location. Hoping speech is still free.
