At a time when we face an existential climate crisis, this reckless giveaway to oil and gas corporations is unconscionable. Our public lands are a shared resource that must be preserved for future generations.   Beyond these egregious examples, the bill's draconian cuts to student aid, attack on consumer protections, undermining of judicial authority, and corporate handouts represent a full-scale assault on the public good. Budgets are a statement of priorities and values - this one prioritizes greed over people.   I implore you to summarily reject this destructive bill. Stand up for the working families of this nation, not the narrow interests of the wealthy few. Defend our environment, healthcare, and democracy itself by voting no on this shameful proposal.
