We learned on Sunday that a middle detonated early and shrapnel from one of the missiles hit a CHP vehicle. The White House and Pentagon had wanted the freeway left open. If Governor Newsom hadn’t ordered the freeway closed, who knows how many casualties there might have been.

During a Senate Committee hearing this week, Kristi Noem said, “We have utilized due process as it’s laid out in the tools Congress has given us.”
She doesn’t seem to know that “due process” is a right guaranteed by the Constitution, not something the government “utilizes” nor grants at whim. Yikes!

As an attorney, I am disgusted at the news of Paul Weiss agreeing to provide $40M in pro bono legal services to advance Trump’s policies. They have exposed themselves as spineless cowards, all to preserve outrageous equity partner profits of $7.5M for each of its 178 partners.
