Actually that is normal old school volume I was doing with Excel 10 yrs ago

I've seen quant people analysing massive data sets which was impossible

Detailed entire population kind of stuff, but telling the researcher things that were not requested

I am a qualitative researcher. Not what I do

Perhaps it has been some while since you did a systematic review of 100k+ texts?

Yes, I understand. You called me out for using AI, yet are using AI, which was likely given AI is everywhere

I checked some stuff on Chrome (AI), asking a question of Search (AI), and checked heart rate on my smartwatch (AI)

AI in research can be very helpful

It is also used in CSAM

I use an LLM to edit my already written text

BlueSky apparently uses AI for it's Discover feed, moderation and internally, possibly for code. Thankfully, they are a good bunch of people and not driven by AI

The "any use of AI is immoral" position will be difficult for you to argue here

Yes, but I'd prefer he got lots of weapons and NATO membership for Ukraine

We are

Hate speech and disinformation should be made criminal

Doesn't do us any good at all

Oddly, in social work assignments I mark, the only students claiming to be better future social workers are the few who self-declare Christianity, & lesbians

I am sure there are many more of both categories, but they don't hold those up as making them superior

No-one else claims better-ness

Weird

I really don't care what people believe, but I note that the more fundamentalist the beliefs the (1) less critical is their view of the socio-political and environment, and (2) the more they use coercion to get their way

At last census, just under 40%. Christians just over. Next year Christians will probably be fewer than we with no gods

In the USA believers are over 60%

Congratulations! An important milestone and darned hard work

“No federal or state law enforcement agency has provided any evidence to the public that the alleged gunmen were motivated by pro-Palestinian beliefs.”
But their actions will be used to criminalise opposition to genocide anyway #auspol

40% of the pop are Christian and same number know that gods don't exist

He might try some balancing of his responsibilities

Did Walz use the other parts of DARVO other than Victim?

I didn't hear that

Christo-Nat's use it differently

As abuse and mocking. In their world, people who don't take personal responsibility are weak, lost, godless, whingers, etc

This was contempt

Five! From a bolt action. How many times did the arsehole shoot at Ahmed I wonder?

Was Ahmed distracting the shooter from aiming at others, as well as tackling the elder one?

Drawing fire is absolutely heroic and more than one casualty did so it seems

Hundreds of previous examples support this prediction

Just look to the USA for how this will go down

Ban hate, not dissent

The words on the signs carried are more important than the number of people carrying signs

The easiest mechanism might just be for the USA to join almost all UN nations by ratifying all human rights conventions, and then requiring that minimum standard internally

So many things to be done in the post Trump Renaissance

'Never again' might be the guide, and also 'dignity for all'

Hate speech is not free speech. The very point of hate is to subjugate

Legislate, and fine her into oblivion

Re P2025 pic; why would we want politically accountable decision makers?

Don't we want to best, the most meritorious and NOT the political favourites to make public health decisions?

That seems weird, but I am not a US citizen. Must be different there?
