Black History Book Recs - Day 8: I'm going to do fiction on weekends & obvious 1st pick is Octavia Butler's Parable Of the Sower (and Talents). It's 1 of a few books that I've read multiple times. It's deeply insightful and great storytelling. Now more than ever you should read it if you haven't.

Black History Book Recs - Day 5: Another author whose catalogue of both poetry and writing is crucial reading - Audre Lorde. Her work is timelessly helpful (sadly) in understanding our conditions and inspiring actions. Here, her poem on survival from the book "Black Unicorn"

I had lovely year of re-reads & new discoveries.
