No doubt the builder is long-gone, and cannot be held to account 😠

Same. So many good books, so little time.

Try reading In Too Deep. Not good, for sure. If not bot-written, it certainly has been bot-washed, if you know what I mean. Zero style character.

Correction, I mean, not written by Childs,

Peggy, I just read the latest Reacher book, in theory written by Lee Childs and his son. I have read all the Reachers, from Book 1 on. This book was not written by Reacher. It was not written by a person. It was written by a bot, and it is insipid. Childs' writing was never insipid, to say the least

This is a demonstration against FPTP. Poilievre's riding is the obvious place to do it. Nothing to do with Bruce.

Well done, Peggy. What a scare! How did you get the hydrogen peroxide down his throat? That must have been a battle.

I wish you were still on Twitter.

Oh, lucky you. I haven't had any of those. Thank goodness, however, that I haven't had any boob-bots either, so far.

@evaholland.bsky.social I wonder if your book would be eligible for this award.

The lady is a dynamo. She is most generous with advice and help. She is on Bluesky and everything else. If you would like suggestions about shipping or anything else book-linked, you could consider contacting her.

She has published several of her own books, and plans to publish work by local Ottawa and other Canadian authors. She just announced an award for authors who are not eligible for the biggies because they aren't represented by big publishers (the Toby Awards, named after her cool dog).
October 19, 2024 at 12:08 PM
She decided to self-publish when her publisher rejected her last book, not because it wasn't good but because they decided to go with "Big Name Authors" only. She has started a small publishing concern, Rebound Press.

Hi Eva. I am happy to have found you again online. I just ordered your book by way of Twitter, and I finally decided to look into Bluesky. You may have heard of an Ottawa writer here, Peggy Blair. She has been successful with several published books (more)...
