I’ve lived in North Georgia for two years now, but to be honest…sometimes I still don’t know what the hell is going on around here.
A medium-sized rock with a plaque reading “Goat Rock: ‘Destination for Election Losers.’” The plaque tells a story of a man who lost an election for Hall County Justice of the Peace and was “banished to Goat Rock,” inviting other “election losers” to join him. The plaque concludes: “Jake was a frequent visitor to Goat Rock, wherever that was. Did the mythical Goat Rock even exist? It does now, right here.”
