Yes and employers have proven they'd rather violate immigration law than pay a motivational salary to food harvesters. The people in power won't allow UBI to pass until they have a non-human workforce to exploit.

This isn't going to happen until we have robots to harvest fields and clean porta-potties. No one would choose to do that if they didn't have to.
