We are the professional association for EMS professionals and EMS agencies of Colorado. Founded in 1973, we are older than the National Association of EMTs. Our premier event, the Colorado State EMS Conference, is the largest EMS conference in the region

Honor the women who helped shape the profession by submitting a nomination for the third annual Vanguard Awards. These awards recognize exceptional women leaders with 35+ years of service whose dedication, influence, and legacy continue to inspire the EMS community.
A large, and especially important, portion of what EMSAC does is very much "behind the scenes." Such as helping craft the language that is used in legislation sponsored by our state senators and representatives. Our Colorado legislature convenes January 14. And EMS Day at the Capitol is February 10.
