"Stewart and Lukens both referenced EMS. Stewart plans for legislation paying them more for their work, stating that 40% of calls aren’t reimbursed as there aren’t hospital transports. Lukens is working on a bill to designate EMS as an essential service, as it currently is not designated as such."

Such as helping craft the language that is used in legislation sponsored by our state senators and representatives. Our Colorado legislature convenes January 14. And EMS Day at the Capitol is February 10.
