Beth and I have been trying to find some good two-player games. Some friends of ours recently got this one for us and we had a chance to try it out tonight. Lots of fun! Beth MUUURDERED me at it, but we had a good time. Lots of deep strategy to it. I highly recommend it.

Sure, there are some zany hijinks, but I think we’re supposed to just forget that Kronk serves up the “poison” to Kuzco without a second thought. Make no mistake, this is the face of a stone cold killer.

My brother had a chimney fire! All humans and pets are fine. Thankfully the damage was contained to the chimney, but freaky! Make sure to clean your chimney before using it for the season.

Every year I see the same posts and emails: “Don’t leave your dog out in the snow!” Please. My dog is a Great Pyrenees. I have trouble getting her to come *out* of the snow.

We went to the Festival Of Trees at the Indiana Historical Society. 85 decorated Christmas trees on display, each with a different theme chosen by the trees’ sponsors. My feet hurt from the walking, but they were beautiful trees and we had a good time.

We’re heading into the cold season (in some places we’re already there). People will start posting not to leave your dog outside in the cold. Just remember that some breeds LOVE the cold. It’s 21° outside and I just tried to get my Great Pyrenees to come back in. She basically told me to fuck off.
