And for a totally different hobby, here's a stuffed whale I made for a friend of mine. I used a pattern for the whales from Dishonored, but had a bit of fun with fabric selection.

First attempt at kitbashing. I hate how the venom sac genestealer heads look, but I do like having the visible blade as a delivery method, so I just cut that off and adhered it to one of the ymgarl heads.

Just a bit of fun posing some of the models. Once I get all of these painted up I should redo the shot. This is a good look at how badly that orange paint works on larger models - I tried doing more coats and at this point I just need to strip the paint off the Broodlord and start over.

For my tyranids, the colour scheme is inspired by Son of Crawmerax from Borderlands 2. The little ones, like this gaunt, will just have blue and orange, but the bigger ones will have more of a colour palette. Still need to do detailing on this little guy. Need to find a better orange for big 'nids.

The head is magnetised, which helped a lot with painting the fabric on the neck, and also lets me rotate the head for posing.

Thread of old hobby photos! I'm the slowest painter in the world (unskilled and I refuse to shell out for contrast paints), so I've only done a couple models. The low model count of kill team helps a bit with motivation, so I mostly completed this trans pathfinder at least
