So I'm sitting here listening to this creature scratch and claw(I think that's what I'm hearing) as it realizes it is trapped and can't do anything to get out. And this pretty much sums up what it has been like in this country since 1/20/2025.

I happen to work in manufacturing. I'm not sure where this idea that Americans want these jobs comes from. The majority of people we have applying and working here are international workers. And we have decent pay and decent benefits.

May 1973, my father left for work. My mother stayed home with her 4 children ages 5,3,1, and 4 weeks. He never returned. She was 26 and a widow, Social Security is what kept us together as a family.
