Tried my hand at making detroit-style deep dish tonight, and it came out really great! @vlarg.bsky.social I made one DF as well, using Chao's 'creamy original' shreds, and it definitely nailed the flavor but not the texture. When melted it was more like a layer of queso, which... maybe that's ok?

I've also been baking a bit in the new house! Pepperoni pizza, jalapeno popper, parisian, and caramel apple pecan kolaches, all absolutely slapped.

As a gift to myself I finally got a perfect grade (1/60 scale) gundam kit, the wing zero custom from endless waltz. A few annoyances and fiddly bits with the kit, but it's so huge and it brings me joy.
