Thinking about this again since Wonderful is almost over but the Pretty Cure fandom has this really weird hatred of Yoshimi Narita where they blame her for EVERYTHING and view anything she writes in the worst faith possible, even stuff that you wouldn't bat an eye at if it wasn't written by her

Looking at Ultraman episode counts compared to Super Sentai and Kamen Rider ones is really fascinating cause the Toei ones, with a few exceptions, are all ~50 episodes and then Ultraman seasons can go from 13 to 26 to 39 to 52, it's so inconsistent but I find all if this interesting

I presume this is just cause it was the first one and he wasn't popular yet but the original Ultraman has surprisingly very little Ultraman in it, they focus a lot more on the monsters of the week rather than Ultraman himself, he only really shows up for 3 minutes at the end to beat up the monster
