Worked a bit on no buy Tuesdays & Thursdays which I was really hoping to have ready for the No Kings Protests. Osteomyelitis (bone infection) recurred a few days prior, so now I'm back on high dose antibiotics again (🎉). 😟🤢🤮

Could we make it an actual clown tattoo? I would be totally down for that. I don't like this new brown look, and I think he only uses it because he got tired of being called orange, but someone should start a rumor that he's started to smear his feces instead of buying makeup.

Of course not, but they could do a better job applying his makeup. They definitely couldn't make him look beautiful, but maybe choose a better color and blend a bit. Honestly, I'm starting to miss the orange. This new shade is dour.

Yeah, but if you do it badly it's totally undeniable that you're wearing makeup. If it's actually applied well, you might be able to deny you're wearing makeup. And if anyone finds out you just claim it was for a woman who hangs out around the Whitehouse, it's not like they don't always lie anyhow.

I don't even go out anymore. If I go to see a movie, something I used to really enjoy. I can't remember watching it, just how much it hurt to sit in the chair, and we only ever go to the ones with the nice reclining seats and it still just kills me. Walking is rough too, even with my walker.

I agree, it would be nice if they would end the war on opiates for chronic pain patients too. I would have so much less strain on my body and mind if my pain were properly managed. I'd be less disabled too, I'm essentially bedridden now, I can do something for ~30 minutes, but then I suffer for days

In 2024, 27% of the time that the Coast Guard boarded boats to search for drugs, they didn't find any. You cannot just go blowing up boats when you are very likely going to be wrong over a quarter of the time. It's criminal.

What I really don't understand is why he doesn't just pay for a makeup artist. He could actually be made to look decent. Instead, it's like he globs on bronzer of various shades and does the worst job ever. He can't even cover up a bruise properly (when we have makeup that covers tattoos ffs).

Pam Bondi was the AG in Florida for years. Of course she's dead inside. I don't think there was ever actually any real life in there. I'd call her a bitch but people call me that all the time and I don't think much of it and even if I am not on the level she is. She's like the bitch boss, lvl 1000.

The original Canon cameras made beautiful noises as they functioned. Clicks and shutter sounds, and whirs (once they got to auto-winding the film), the nose it made as the flash came online. I owned one, still do, though I didn't really use it anymore. I could see using it as a percussion instrument

It was trained on human data, so it has human flaws. I don't know why people don't get that. It lies, cheats and deceives, because we do those things. If we'd wanted it to actually work the way we want it to work, we should have fed it a cleaner more curated data set, not everything they could steal

The FAA requires that airplanes with more than 44 seats be able to evacuate all passengers and crew within 90 seconds. Even if some exits are blocked. You could never do that with these seats, you can barely do it with the seating arrangements we have now.

That would be super dangerous. Airplanes don't have oxygen on them really (the pilots have a supply and there is a small emergency supply), there are oxygen generators, a combination of chemicals that when introduced to each other, produce oxygen. Safer than a bunch of tanks of O2, mostly (ValuJet).

They didn't have a choice, and a lot of them died during the passage. We have a choice and they can't just go around killing us (not yet at least).

They can't, there's a restriction regarding the speed you must evacuate an airplane. A lot of these designs would make that impossible. So they couldn't fly in or to the US at least, based on that upper limit evacuation time mandated by the FAA and NTSB. These are just airline wet dreams.

I tried making my mom's Irish soda bread with a 1 to 1 gluten free flour, but if i can't have oat I'm going to have to sub it for like rice and tapioca flour, plus guar and xanthan gum and it all goes a bit wonky in my head after that. Easier just to give up on bread 😫
