She is open to personal consequences at this point? Disbarment, contempt, possible criminal charges under a future admin?

She really committed to the bit. That is a pretty insane level of self harm for a hoax.

There is nothing speculative or fake about their GPUs or engineering and manufacturing capabilities. It’s the uses that people are putting them to that are risky.

Don’t get me wrong their stock is incredibly overpriced like cisco in the 90s. But like cisco they are a real company that will survive a bubble just fine even if the stock speculators don’t.

Nvidia sells shovels they aren’t digging for gold. That is real revenue.

I follow him here but he isn’t a democrat or a liberal. Hard pass.

You would think at the point someone suggested not baking bread in the store anymore that someone would say what the fuck are you talking about we are a bakery, stfu.
November 19, 2025 at 7:30 PM
Panera used to be amazing and they gradually destroyed everything good about it. They don’t even make bread in the store any more!
November 19, 2025 at 7:28 PM
Gonna keep this going through the midterms are they?

Consultants seem constitutionally unable to walk and chew gum and the same time.

This is mostly a problem because long term interaction with chatgpt eventually wears down all the guardrails. Long term memory is what causes this slide into folie a deux. In a clean chat account it’ll try and talk you down but eventually it just reflects what you are saying to it.
November 19, 2025 at 3:41 PM
The answer is google doesn’t have a choice. If they don’t do it, chatgpt will. Google has a near monopoly on search but it can evaporate over night.

It’s cheaper to eat at olive garden than mcdonalds now for some reason.

Newer models are expensive to train and run but then they get cheaper and more energy efficient to run over time. One thing that everyone is doing is automatically routing requests to those cheaper models and only sending a small amount of requests to reasoning models.

kitzinger, joe walsh, etc. there are a bunch of former republicans that have left because of trump that have no future in the democratic party. Let her try and talk democrats into voting for her but a) they won’t and b) she doesn’t want to.
November 18, 2025 at 3:39 PM
Nazi shit
November 18, 2025 at 3:37 PM
So the thing about engineers is that they are really good at finding inefficiencies and cutting costs, so eventually both inferencing and training will get a lot less expensive will becoming more useful. You can’t assume that the cost of an LLM call will remain static

My statement is just a general principle that the party should support primary winners no matter what their politics are or were.
November 18, 2025 at 3:31 PM
I also don’t think she can win a democrat primary even in deep red georgia.
November 18, 2025 at 3:30 PM
I don’t think anyone should vote for her. I think if she can convince democrats in her district to vote for her then the party should support her as the nominee. I would never vote for her, even if she changed her politics because she is an idiot on top of being a nazi.
November 18, 2025 at 3:30 PM
She has also given zero indication that she is switching parties. She still wants to be queen of MAGA
November 18, 2025 at 3:24 PM
Do you think she can win a democratic primary? I don’t think she can. So I think you are worrying about something that doesn’t matter.
November 18, 2025 at 3:23 PM
You’re misrepresenting what all these people are saying. None of them are saying that AI is bullshit or that there is going to be a complete collapse. They are saying that there are a lot of AI investments that aren’t going to pan out. Just like with other tech bubbles built on real advances.
November 18, 2025 at 2:09 PM
We don’t need to roll out the red carpet for her nationally or do anything to support her at all right now, but if she wants to run as a democrat and can _win a democratic party primary_ in her district then the party should support her like any other nominee. She ain’t switching parties tho.
