i'm running out of things to say so i'll leave it here: ai "art" is not art, ai "artists" are not artists

also: like bro just make the music yourself 😭 it's not hard, i can promise you that 7/7

in this worldview of theirs, art isn't something to practice or dedicate yourself to or even think about. it's something to be used. something to put on a page so you can call yourself an "artist" with none of the effort the term implies

why not just use an "art" button? way easier 6/?

that is, the value of having their own "creations" to brag about or mint as an NFT or sell at conventions (yes, actual thing) or whatever

know what, i think my wording was poor in the last post. i should correct that a bit. it's not even the "art" itself they value, it's how they can exploit it 5/?

funny thing is, now that i think about it, it's not wild at all. there's a logic to it, it makes sense

that is, ai bros don't want or value creativity at all. why would they? there's no "value" in being creative. but they do see some value in the "art" itself 4/?

it's truly wild. like, the ai bros don't even want to actually create anything. like another user said, they just want an "art button"

they want something that'll just shit out "good art" whenever they want. no effort, no time spent, no process, not even actual ideas. nothing 3/?

i guess it's official: ai bros have now given up on even having ideas. now they want their precious bots to do all the thinking for them

even the most basic parts of the creative process are now too much to deal with 2/?
