Excited to have been re-elected to the Global Greens Coordination, representing the European Green family 💚🌍

I can't believe it's been six years already, time flies when you're in meetings(?) - but excited to get stuck into the strategic and partner developments 🙌🏻🤞🏻

How do you heat your home?

🏘 Across Ireland, solid fuels have been accessible & affordable, but are also a main cause of harmful #AirQuality.

But bans on solid fuels in the 90s have seen benefits reaching up to the present. Watch now: youtu.be/NdDLihDugns

One way to spend an evening recovering from double vaccines, now my head is as sore as my arms. But finished in under two hours (with some random google searches), a personal best ❤️ #HiddenBooksGame 📚

Book banning is so dangerous, not only because the kids unable to access these books are missing out on important conversations their parents will never think to have with them, because they're too busy pouring their energy into the outrage machine. Allow your kids to be individual thinkers, ffs.

Last night in Antwerp:

#JudithButler delivered one hell of a talk. Ideas on how we can build community without enforcing conformity - made me think of modern activist spaces and the fear of being an imperfect activist. But we need imperfect more than we need apathetic.

Perfect Saturday evening 👌🏻

This shouldn't have come as a bargaining tool but now it is here - let's turn words into action. Stop arming Israel.

(And let's not using softened words at that. A genocide is a genocide, not a man-made humanitarian crisis).

🌡 This summer, we saw record-breaking temperatures and extreme weather. Children are extremely vulnerable to #HeatWaves, so school buildings need to be healthy and climate-resilient.

🏫 We visited one school in Spain to learn how they are tackling the heat.

Been working on this lil project for a while ⤵️

🏘 Climate and health intersect everywhere, including our buildings. We have a new video series that will take you across Europe and inside efforts to mitigate harmful impacts of climate change.

📍 Next stops: Vienna, Dublin and Sofia!
This week is #BackToSchool!

Addressing climate change calls for climate-resilient buildings, including schools.

🏫In Alcorcón, Spain, teachers & students are working to mitigate impacts from heat waves for a sustainable & supportive school environment.

Today 110,000 people came to Brussels to draw the #RedLine for Gaza and to #SpeakUpForPalestine 🍉

Some days we can feel powerless, but today showed the power behind a united voice.

📣 We will not be silent about genocide.

This time of the year also marks my diagnosis anniversary (9 years!)

I've had some scares recently that turned out to be all okay, but a constant reminder that I need to take care and learn to love this complicated body. Even on the bad days 💜

I feel like there's a quote for this...ah yes.

✨️When you're accustomed to privilege, equality feels like oppression✨️

And it's not even equal, you're just mad a small about of change has occurred in recent years.

This truly sucks. Access to citizenship should not be a privilege. And ditching the social integration requirement and upping the cost will do worse for Belgium as a community. People will not feel a part of it.

I was watching a Philosophy Tube video when this news came through & Abigail said: "Starting with the politics and inventing facts about women's bodies to justify it".

Attacking trans rights is attacking feminism. Terfs will drag us back to gender essentialism and everything that comes with it.

Because we can dream of a healthy planet that we can breathe on, indeed it's not a radical aspiration.
