However, it's sad to see how much of the fandom is outraged about "lore inaccuracies" when it's so clear games, books and movies exist SEPARATELY.
And THANK GOD for that.
If movies would try to include everything from games, they would be unwatchable.

Tbf movie critics/reviewers are one thing, I get that it's their job etc. Other content creators/ randoms that say they didn't like the 1st movie, but went to see 2nd are laughable at best.

The level of insecurity displayed should be influenced by the setting. It's okay for them to be e.g. wearing skimpy clothes around friends, but oversized ones at work.
It's not something that a person thinks about 24/7/365. Every thought about their looks shouldn't be accompanied by "but xyz".

It's not something that a person thinks about 24/7/365. Every thought about their looks shouldn't be accompanied by "but xyz".

I feel like a lot of folks tend to overcompensate to try not to fall into "insecure fatty" and accidentally go into "almost narcissistic fatboss" stereotype...
It's *okay* for the character to be fat and insecure, just don't make it their defining characteristic.

I think atp the best choice for me would be to make something like a telegram or discord server, so I could post my works (art&writing) without having to deal with the general <web user sphere>, but then...

Can't believe I actually found another person who has visual snow! For a long time I blamed astigmatism for the weird "pixel/static-like texture" to my vision.
I probably also have tinnitus, though I never was officially diagnosed.
I never thought that the two could have some correlation. 🤔

Like I'm sorry, but unless they're full of silicon/... there's no way that a tit weighting the equivalent of a mid-size dog will look like that. :"D

Artists really can't win, no matter what we do or don't do, especially if they have in any way more simplified or toony style.
Some asshat will always come and accuse us of something they simply project onto a piece they didn't even looked on for more than 3 seconds.

People complain about how this is "oversexualization" but let's be honest, any attempt of adding other "grown" features (double chin, stretch marks) immediately makes most people scream how "unsexy" it is and how it's "unrealistic" that anyone but a fetishist would find the character attractive. 🥲

I felt like this all my life until I learned I'm almost definitely neurodivergent and everything finally clicked in place.
Same with being on aroace and non-binary spectrums.
Those realizations didn't help me achieve things I (thought) I wanted, but it did help me be more content with what I have.
