Ceftriaxone 2 gm IV q12h for 3 days vs. matching placebo reduced early-onset pneumonia occurring ≤4 days after intubation in OHCA survivors treated with TTM and may reduce antibiotic resistance gene acquisition through a decrease in antibiotic exposure
