The last Trump admin tried cutting housing benefits thru work requirements (we defeated those efforts) but as my colleague Sarah Saadian notes here, “most residents who can work already do, they're just not getting paid wages that are high enough to afford housing.” www.npr.org/2024/11/22/n...
