I have never pulled the obnoxious PhD card until today. I’m not proud of shutting someone down with that, because I still have So Much to learn. But I’m tired, I’m angry, and I’m sick of talking heads spewing propaganda that is designed to divide people.

Alcatraz started as a citadel and then became a prison.
I think a more accurate name would be Alligator Auschwitz.

They say the “Fourth Estate” or “Fourth Power” is the news and other media. It is different from the religion, politics and common people, but holds a power all its own. Think about the saying “The pen is mightier than the sword.” If used correctly, the media can stave off armies.

1/I've been thinking of lawyers and teachers in past fascist regimes. The movie industry definitely portrays teachers scooting at-risk students out the back door when Gestapo agents showed up at schools.
