At first my rescue kittens wanted nothing to do with me because they were so scared, totally fair. A year later they lay upside down like this waiting for belly rubs.

These two (brother and sister rescue, I named Ross & Monica) often fall asleep while I read and Ross loves to put his paws on me when he sleeps like he’s the head of my apartment 😂 “Bitch, it’s nap time. No movement.”

I don’t know why after so long, I STILL respond to my TV (no shame) “YESSS BIIIIIIIITCH!!!!!” and then spend five-eight minutes searching for the remote.

Apparently I demanded my phone as soon as I woke up, so I could instruct my dad how to take a selfie… something I’m known for not doing. Deep breaths and thank your anesthesiologist pre-op, they had to go to school the longest to make this a fun and easy day 🤣

Recovering from surgery has been painful (again). Tonight I saw this simple text from my mom, to myself & brother. Small things like this are better than any post-op medicine.

My two rescues are Ross (left) and his sister Monica (right). Every time I turn out the lights they know it’s bed time and apparently all the bedding I’ve bought them was a waste because “bed time” is my lap 😂

My mom just sent me this. That’s right friends, my beautiful mother at home with her red wine 😂

Cheers! You can see my #catsofbluesky on my page and through time. I am getting ready for surgery for cervical cancer in two weeks & I rescued a brother and sister, who I truly believe care for me as the third. (They don’t even let me pee alone.)

That was one of my first thoughts here!!! The only “ad” I’ve seen is shared happiness. I have needed that.

My dad is a Coach, hero & my best friend. When he retired from teaching (never Coaching) I thanked him by getting him season tickets, since retirement in 2020 (worried for his health at schools).

There were two cats found on the main highway I live by. Everyone only wanted the “small one” who had been pregnant at five months and lost her kittens on the road. I wanted to keep them together. They are family; I named them Ross & Monica :)
