but this was always their following move after overturning Roe vs. Wade. You can tell them that women’s fundamental rights of bodily autonomy are not up for debate again. Tell them that we the people do not want this, do not stand for this, and will continue to resist.

But as for this bill, its implications are about reproductive rights not citizenship. You can tell your representatives that this bill threatens the lives of women across America. This bill would hinder abortion care on a national level —

HR 722 actually deals with criminalizing abortion by granting the same rights to the born and unborn — it’s not about jus sanguinis. I do agree, though, that if there’s a serious push to dismantle birthright citizenship, that would be a dangerous erosion of constitutional rights.
