My dissertation defense was also looming, so of course I hyperfixated on learning to code (I think this was a subconscious protective measure so I didn't die of panic attacks). Now that I've defended and am waiting for specifics about my revisions, I've had time to re-hyperfocus on my JavaScript.

I picked up HTML and CSS a few weeks ago on a whim, because I signed up for Proton email and that had a custom domain option, and if I'm going to have a custom email I might as well make a website for it. So I started playing around with something to put my CV on. Then I got fired.

The only way to avoid this is by never skimming it again after submission.

I'm graduating with my PhD on Thursday though. It's a weird week.
