#BSUENG490 I really love how French casually includes her politics in the novel. There’s a lot about colonialism and feminism in between the lines, and even explicitly when anyone talks about whitethorn house. I thought this bit was really interesting from this section:

If you were interested in my full thoughts on Room, I’ve attached my Goodreads review 😂 but tl;dr I really liked Room! I have similar criticisms with the ending that you expressed with the ending of The Wonder. I was not expecting it to be from Jack’s POV, but I really enjoyed it!

#BSUENG490 Well, so far, this book has sent me down many rabbit holes (I’ve attached some interesting Wikipedia screenshots lol). I love the writing style. Love the use of parentheticals. Love how much I’m learning about the Igbo. I’m fully locked in
