5. Delta Green is one of those games I wouldn't have considered trying just walking past it on a shelf, but as horror RPGs go, it really surprised me and is a game I really want to play more of. There's so much to love from the simplicity of the skill system to the way it handles atmosphere.

4. The Jacket adventure in the Cyberpunk Edgerunners Mission Kit is two things: quintessential Cyberpunk, and a wonderful epilogue to the story we see in the Edgerunners anime. The adventure has some wonderfully inspired characters and serves as a great intro to the 2070s for the TTRPG.

3. While technically still in playtesting, Beetleworld is one of those games that can be run story heavy, but in its current state is a great vertical slice of things to come. The Uno card and three-headed dice system is fresh and easy to use, and the game leans into you learning and trying again.

2. Shadow Scar. As a playtester for the game, it was really hard keeping this game to myself for the majority of the last year. While stealth puzzles aren't everyone's cup of tea, this game will absolutely scratch that itch for genre fans. Its d6 system is very easy to learn and run as well.

1. Cyberpunk Red. You knew this was coming. The game has a near perfect balance of crunch and simplified rules that offer so much flexibility that don't typically see in other games. Regardless of the kind of TTRPG player you are, if the world hooks you, there's nothing better.
