First day in almost a year that I'm not wearing my hair in a way that directly covers any brow lift scars from facial feminization surgery. Just owning the hell out of transition and these eyes and hair I want vs hair I think I need.

I have got to the point in transition where I have cut my hair very short and it doesn't bother me at all in terms of how I look to others. It sounds small but it feels huge.

I went through a small phase of not wearing hats or other accessories we ascribe as men's because it gave people too much "you're masculine" ammunition to use. But screw that, my hats, and me, are too adorable.

I made shirts for my daughters volleyball team this year and they signed a thank you card for me and used many middle school words that I, a 45-year-old, do not understand, but wow was it ever kind.
