Happy with the way life is turning out.
Headteacher at Three Bridges Primary School, mostly here for books and school stuff.
We wouldn't include or exclude because of the celebrity factor.
Ibtihaj Muhammad was a famous athlete before she was an author. Teachers fought over who would get to have her book in their year.

Nobody wanted Walliams.

I think it's also OK to be honest about life as a reader. We don't all love all books.

I think so (but it does depend on the book). It helps to share it with someone who does love it.

I led the development of our Reading Spine and I think the thing I'm proudest of is that there are books I would never have chosen. It's a reflection of more voices than just this one opinionated booklover. 😀

My son's response:
"Well yeah, you're funny looking."

I've googled, asked in bookshops and extensively discussed it with Gemini and XhatGPT, who both made stuff up.

Please help me find this book for my friend, Michael.

We added a 30 minute weekly assembly that teachers don't come to & they do a 30 minute lunch duty once a week.

General feedback is that they enjoy that time outside with the children, lunchtimes run more smoothly, & I definitely prefer leading assembly without the rows of grown-ups at the sides!
