Have realised I am nowhere near the end of the body section on this crop jumper and I can't face any more stockinette knitting, so I've started a quick 'granny hexagon' blanket from scrap yarn as a palate cleanser! Anything goes...

Work in progress: another quilted playmat/blanket for a friend's baby. It's sort of my own invention; it's a washable pram blanket, but I'm currently sewing a water resistant canvas backing that can be tied on to be used as a portable playmat for plonking the baby on in, eg, the cafe or the library!

This truly enormous painting is still rolled up in my studio and I have absolutely nothing I could do with it. Anybody want a 6ft tall haunted tree for some reason? Book cover image? Snazzy backdrop to a ritual murder shrine?

Quite liked this little series of winter tree sketches, mostly unfinished. Not great as whole paintings but there are little bits I wish I could cut out.

Wouldn't it be idyllic if my son would drift gently off for his nap, in the shade of this lovely park, on his handmade playmat, to the sound of birdsong, while I knit beside him. Unfortunately he is a baby and therefore hates both naps and anything being idyllic

Might as well start here by posting some of the shitload of work I've never shared. Oteiza/Chillida exhibition at Museo San Telmo, San Sebastian. Left me a bit cold, tbh, but nice shiny statues for tone studies.
